As the tournament is only around six months away, some Euro 2012 shirts have been released and this has built up a lot of anticipation for the competition. The Austrian national football team will not be competing at the tournament as they finished 4th in Group A; behind the likes of Belgium, Turkey and Germany. The side are currently placed in 71st position in the FIFA world rankings and they play their home matches at Ernst Happel Stadion. They are coach by Marcel Koller and have recently released the new Austria 2012-13 home shirt.

This jersey is mostly red, in what is a relatively plain design. It has a round red collar and white detail near that area. There are also white designs under the arms. The Austria home jersey for 2012/13 is manufactured by Puma. The Austria national crest sits on the left chest and the Puma logo is on the right chest.

The 12 13 new Austria home football shirt will be worn during friendly matches and 2014 World Cup qualifying matches by players like Paul Scharner, Stefan Maierhofer, Marko Arnautovic and Marc Janko.
