PSV Eindhoven Extend Philips Sponsorship Deal
It was announced today that the Philips sponsor will appear on PSV Eindhoven’s new football kits for the next five years. PSV Eindhoven and Philips have had a long standing relationship with each other over the years and this extended deal will take this partnership until at least 2016. The new deal will start on 1st July.
The Philips sponsor has appear on the PSV Eindhoven home shirt since 1982, which is a record in Holland’s top flight. On 31st August 1913, the club started out as they were the employees of Philips and this was to celebrate the defeat of the French in the Napoleonic wars.
Fans of PSV Eindhoven will be delighted that the tradition of having their shirt sponsored by Philips is continuing and that this partnership should remain intact for a long time.
